FUNCTIONS OF THE ENFORCEMENT DIVISION
Enforce the Immigration Act 1959/63, the Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act (ATIP) 2007, the Passport Act 1966 and the Immigration Regulations 1963.
Acting as a member of the Intelligence Department in collecting and analyzing information on activities contrary to the Immigration Act 1959/63, the Passport Act 1966 and the Immigration Regulations 1963.
Carry out operations and monitoring of enforcement activities of the Immigration Act 1959/63, Passport Act 1966 and Immigration Regulations 1963 at the State/District/Branch Immigration Office.
Investigate, compound and prosecute any person found/suspected of committing an offense under the Immigration Act 1959/63, the Passport Act 1966, and the Immigration Regulations 1963.
Expel any foreign national found to have committed an offense under the Immigration Act 1959/63, the Passport Act 1966 and the Immigration Regulations 1963.

Receive complaints or information from the public
Intelligence
Conduct preliminary intelligence/investigation on complaints/information sent.
UTI (OPERATION)
Conduct operations based on intelligence information.
INVESTIGATION
Open investigation papers and conduct investigations into arrests as well as obtain TPR instructions for further action.
PROSECUTION
Carry out legal action in accordance with the instructions of the TPR.
DEPOSIT/DETENTION DEPOT
Carry out the duty of deportation and repatriation of foreigners after the end of the sentence/legal action.
