What is the Long-Term Social Visit Pass for Graduates?

This pass is a Long-Term Social Visit Pass that allows graduates to travel, continue their studies, and work part-time in permitted sectors

Who is eligible to apply?

It is open to international students who have completed their studies at the Bachelor’s Degree level and above at Higher Education Institutions (IPT) in Malaysia

Is there an age limit for the application?

There is no age limit requirement

What are the application requirements?

√    A confirmation letter of study/course completion issued by a Public University (UA) or Private Higher Education Institution (IPTS).

√    The applicant’s Student Pass must still be valid.

√    A passport with a validity period of at least 18 months.

√    Active health insurance with a coverage period of at least 12 months.

√    A Personal Bond with a Malaysian citizen sponsor who has a minimum income of RM1,500.

√    The applicant must never have been convicted of any offense violating the laws in Malaysia.

√    A support/confirmation letter regarding the student’s conduct from the educational institution or                      embassy (specifically for citizens of China and India

How do I apply?

Applications are made through the EMGS portal (https://visa.educationmalaysia.gov.my/) and are processed at the Student Pass Unit, Visa, Pass and Permit Division, Immigration Department of Malaysia (JIM) in Putrajaya

What are the fees?

The fee is RM600 for the applicant and RM600 for each dependent, plus the Multiple Entry Visa (MEV) rate, which varies by country.

What are the benefits of the pass?
