Restricted Passport to Brunei

This passport is issued to Malaysian citizens residing in Sarawak, Sabah, and the Federal Territory of Labuan for travel to Brunei Darussalam. Applications can be made at the Immigration Offices in Sabah, Sarawak, and WP Labuan.

Validity

Five (5) years from the date of issue.

Payment

RM 50.00 (new rate effective 1 May 2011)

Applicants aged 18 and above Born in the country
  • Applicant's MyKad
  • If you do not have a MyKad, a temporary identity card (JPN.KPPK 09 and 11) of the applicant is required.
  • 2 recent photos on light blue background (3.5 x 5 cm)
Born abroad
  • Applicant's MyKad
  • Form W/Birth Certificate/Status Certificate
  • Travel documents used when returning to Malaysia.
  • 2 recent photos on light blue background (3.5 x 5 cm)
Officers and members of the military
  • Military ID
  • 2 keping gambar terbaru berlatar belakang biru muda ( berukuran 3.5 x 5 sm)

  • Authorities Police ID
  • 2 recent photos on a light blue background (measuring 3.5 x 5 cm)

If the parent has passed away
  • Applicant's MyKad
  • Applicant's birth certificate
  • Death certificate
  • Affidavit of child custody/ letter from the Social Welfare Department.
  • Guardian's Identity Card/Guardian's Passport (if a foreigner)
  • 2 recent photos on light blue background (3.5 x 5 cm)
If the parents are divorced
  • Applicant's MyKad
  • Applicant's birth certificate
  • The court letter gives custody of the child to the parent.
  • MyKad of the parent who is given custody.
  • 2 recent photos on light blue background (3.5 x 5 cm)
If the mother and father cannot be traced
  • Applicant's MyKad
  • Applicant's birth certificate
  • Oath Letter/Community Welfare Letter or confirmation from the Village Head/Penghulu confirming the parent cannot be traced.
  • Guardian's Identity Card/Guardian's Passport (if a foreigner)
  • 2 recent photos on light blue background (3.5 x 5 cm)
If the applicant is an adopted child
  • Applicant's MyKad
  • Adoption Certificate
  • Guardian's Identity Card/Guardian's Passport (if a foreigner)
  • 2 recent photos on light blue background (3.5 x 5 cm)
If the applicant is married
  • Applicant's MyKad
  • Marriage certificate or divorce certificate (if divorced)
