MALAYSIA-THAILAND BORDER PASS
(BORDER PASS)
PURPOSE
This document is issued to Malaysian citizens born or permanently residing for more than one (1) year in the states of Kedah, Perlis, Kelantan and Hulu Perak District (Pengkalan Hulu, Grik and Lenggong) only. This pass is only valid for travel from the border states to southern Thailand, namely the Provinces of Satun, Songkhla, Yala, Narathiwat and Pattani. Children aged 12 years and below are allowed to accompany their mother or father (maximum of 8 people). Children aged 12 years and above but below 18 years old (if unmarried) must obtain a valid letter of consent from parents/legal guardian.
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- • Identity Card
- • Application Form
- • Utility bill (if necessary)
- • One (1) piece of photo size 3.5 cm X 5 cm with a white background, hair must not cover the forehead and dark-colored headscarf
- • Previous border pass (if any)
- • Birth Certificate (below 18 years old)
- • Form A1/B1 – parent consent form (below 18 years old and unmarried)
- • Husband and wife must apply separately
PAYMENT:
RM10.00
VALIDITY PERIOD:
One (1) year from the date of issue.
