Emergency Certificate
Purpose
This document is issued to Malaysian Citizens under circumstances such as in cases of lost passport abroad, persons who have been repatriated to Malaysia on Government expenses and for Malaysian in case where Malaysia Passport cannot be issued within the stipulated period.
Validity
Valid for Single Journey to countries mentioned therein for the period of 12 months

Form F- Im.42-pin 1/97 Payment of RM50.00 per person Documentary evidence of Malaysian status Two (2) photographs of applicant measuring 3.5 cm x 5.0 cm

Certification of Status
Purpose
This document is issued to individuals who have claimed as a Malaysian.
Application
Application can be made through a Malaysian sponsor at any Immigration offices in Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah and Sarawak by issuing citizenship claim evidence. Application can also be submitted to the nearest Malaysian Mission Abroad.
