A: You should lodge a police report first before proceeding to the Immigration Department to update the worker's information. A replacement of the worker's passport should be applied at the worker's embassy in Malaysia.

Q : What are the process involved to apply for replacement of a foreign worker who fails the medical check-up and was sent back to the country of origin?

A : You need to produce the report from FOMEMA as proof that the worker is unfit, after providing proof of ticket and check out memo, the application for a replacement of foreign worker can be considered.

Q : What are the procedures to apply for a replacement of foreign worker who did not enter?

A You should get a letter from the Immigration office at any point of entry, where the worker is suppose to enter, confirming that the said worker did not enter Malaysia through that particular entry point. Then, you can submit the application for replacement by producing the following documents;

o Application Letter from employer
o Approval letter for ‘Visa with Reference'
o Original Payment Receipt
o Check-out Memo or
o Cancellation letter of Visa with Reference from Malaysia Mission Office (if required)
