  Certification of Status
 
  Purpose
  • This document is issued to individuals who have claim as a Malaysian citizen that situated outside Malaysia to enter Malaysia
     
      Application
  • Application can be made through sponsor at any Immigration offices in Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah and Sarawak by issuing citizenship claim evidence.

     

      Valid Duration
  • Six (6) months from date issued and can be continued by giving reasonable reason or excuse. Director of Immigration can resume Certificate duration as long as the Certificate holder still have the claim as Malaysian citizen.
      General Condition
  • 1-IM.1 Form  
  • Birth evidence such as birth certificate/ "W" Form/ Citizenship Evidence  
  • Parents citizenship and marriage evidence  
  • Three (3) pieces of photograph sized 3.5cm x 5cm  
  • Childrens aged below 12 years old cannot be issued in different documents
